65 LANDLORDS RECEIVED ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE NYS LANDLORD AMBASSADOR PROGRAM! 

Earlier this year, RUPCO administered the NYS Landlord Assistance Program (NYSLAP), which provided financial help to landlords agreeing to keep rents stabilized for the next 2-5 years. Funds were awarded to 65 landlords and 175 units throughout Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, and Greene Counties. We are incredibly proud to share that over $2 Million went to local contractors/businesses for unit repairs and over $73,000 to landlords who had been in fiscal distress!

FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER FUNDING AVAILABLE IN ULSTER COUNTY

RUPCO has funding available to assist low-income first-time homebuyers in purchasing a home in Ulster County! There are two separate grants that can assist with down payment and closing costs and renovations. A RUPCO counselor will assist homebuyer in navigating homebuying process. Some exclusions apply.

RUPCO CAN HELP YOU PURCHASE YOUR HOME IN ORANGE COUNTY

RUPCO is currently administrating a New York State Affordable Housing Corporation (AHC) grant available from the NYS Office of Homes and Community Renewal to assist the Orange County community in achieving the dream of homeownership. These funds can assist low-income first-time homebuyers with down-payment, repairs and closing costs by providing grants of up to $40,000!

JOIN THE WAITLIST FOR VETERANS WHO NEED ACCESSIBILITY MODIFICATIONS

The ACCESS TO HOME HEROES/VETERANS PROGRAM provides up to $25,000 to assist with accessibility modifications, emergency home repairs, or address code violations in the primary residences of low- and moderate-income veterans with disabilities.

The residences can be owned or rented. 

JOIN THE WAITLIST FOR FUNDING TO ASSIST SENIOR HOMEOWNERS WITH EMERGENCY REPAIRS

The Residential Emergency Services to Offer Home Repairs to the Elderly (RESTORE) program helps seniors age 60+ remain living independently and safely in their homes by funding needed structural, electrical, plumbing, and heating repairs, accessibility modifications, and appliance replacements, granting a maximum cost allowed per project to $20,000.
