Challenge Riccione
The Adriatic Sea welcomes Challenge athletes to a 1.9km swim, a 90km cycle through the Rimini hills and the stunning Emilia Romagna Apennines. When athletes head back to the Riviera, they’ll be met with a 21km run along a three-lap course taking advantage of Riccione’s promenade to finish the middle distance race in the heart of Riccione Terme.
Royal Wootton Bassett Sprint Duathlon 2021
With entries sold out in record time for this Wiltshire-based duathlon, a waiting list has been made available for those still hopeful to take part in this popular event. Returning for its eighth year, the Royal Wootton Bassett Sprint Duathlon challenges participants to a 1km run, 20km cycle and 5km flat and fast run.
The event has donated over £10,000 to local charities including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, British Heart Foundation, Alzheimer’s Society and Stroke Association and continues to keep fundraising a priority.
Ely 115 Squadron Duathlon 2021
Ely Tri Club’s Duathlon, formerly known as the Monster Racing Duathlon, welcomes participants to Witchford, Ely, the home of the Bomber 115 Squadron, to take on a 5km run over a disused WWII airfield, a fast 25km cycle and a final 5km run around the same airfield. Ideal for those looking for an event to blow away the winter cobwebs and finish their weekend with a medal and event t-shirt.
Carlisle Duathlon
Described as the perfect warm up for the season ahead, the Carlisle Duathlon invites participants of all abilities to take on their 4km run, 25km bike and 4km run along quiet country roads. The format has changed slightly this year to ensure the event is Covid-Secure, but the duathlon still promises to be a great event to ease you into the 2021 season.
The All Nations Sprint Triathlon
A fun and friendly triathlon is set to take place at Dorney Lake over the weekend. Open to participants of all abilities that are willing to take on the 400m swim, 20km bike and 5km run, The All Nations Sprint Triathlon welcomes beginner triathletes right through to seasoned professionals.
Microgaming 2021 Triathlon Festival Weekend
With the individual sprint taking place on Saturday and the team challenge sprint taking place on Sunday, this triathlon weekend event allows participants to take on the 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run either alone, or as part of a team.
British Triathlon has developed specific Covid-19 requirements focused on the practical implementation of the key government measures of social distancing and increased hygiene. The above permitted events have demonstrated their application of these additional requirements.
