In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, the Westborough Public Library is proud to host Jamie Piro. Jamie is a teacher and musician who is also an autism self-advocate, and serves as an Ambassador for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism. She will give a talk and musical performance, with time for a Q&A.

Speaker Bio: Jamie Piro is the best teacher at the Jordan Jackson Elementary school in Mansfield. She attends HMEA in Plainville, a program giving adults with autism the opportunity to explore career choices in their communities. Through them, she has found jobs she loves at the Children’s Museum in Easton, Willow Crossing in Mansfield and Dean College in Franklin. She wants to spend everyday being the best version of herself she can be.
