Join Fresno Pacific University as we tour the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum in Simi Valley and see their special Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit with insight from FPU Professor Brian Schultz, Ph.D. Included with your registration is a chartered bus ride from FPU to the Ronald Reagan Library and back, an upscale lunch under the wings of Air Force One, and admission to the Library and exhibits with a guided tour. Space is limited.

Dr. Brian Schultz, Professor of Biblical Studies at FPU, is a leading scholar on the War Scroll, one of the Dead Sea Scrolls, with over a dozen scholarly publications in his name. He just completed a new translation and commentary of the War Scroll for Yale University Press that is forthcoming. Additionally, he has participated in several archaeological excavations at Qumran, the site where the community that copied, preserved, and produced the Dead Sea Scrolls lived. Dr. Schultz also has extensive experience leading study tours to the Holy Land that focus on how gaining a better knowledge of the geography, the archaeology, and the history of the Land allows for a deeper understanding of the Bible.

Dinner stop with multiple restaurant options along the way

10:00pm Return to FPU Main Campus
