#SIIM20virtual on SIIMU…where U are.

SIIM has made the difficult, but necessary and responsible decision to cancel our in-person 2020 Annual Meeting in Austin, TX. This decision was based on continued travel restrictions issued by our member medical institutions and corporate partners, as well as our desire to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

We are saddened by the fact we will not be together in-person at #SIIM20 nor be able to celebrate SIIM’s 40th anniversary with you. That said, with a bias towards action, a propensity for innovation, and a high regard for collegiality, we are excited to digitally offer the same relevant content over the same dates. From the comfort of your home, this year’s learning experience—including time with our industry partners—will be readily accessible on SIIMU, our online learning platform.

This sudden pivot from in-person to virtual is the result of a collaborative effort by SIIM’s amazing community. We are grateful for their additional time and energy invested this year which, coupled with your individual and institutional memberships in SIIM, enables us to collectively Reimagine the Future of Imaging Informatics.
