OUR MISSION
Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) is an innovative, non-profit PK-11 private school, adding one grade each year through 12th grade. CTL's primary mission is to foster a LOVE of learning by teaching students to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, and to work both independently and collaboratively. We celebrate diversity and instill integrity, compassion, and confidence in each student. We work in tandem with parents, families, and community members to ensure that each child receives the tools and nurturing needed to become his or her own unique self.

Mixed-age classroom experiences give learners more opportunities to cooperate, appreciate diverse partnerships, and develop empathy.
Having a broader range of abilities in action allows teachers to group students for understanding and genuine progress.
In multiage classrooms, leadership is developed through collaborative teamwork.
Children who have demonstrated comprehension of a concept teach it to project partners, and that reinforces understanding.
Finally, mixed classrooms allow students to develop at their own pace.
