The products and food we consume take 60% more resources from the Earth than it can replenish each year. Young people realise this more than most. Yet their urgent calls for effective change are often ignored or discounted rather than amplified. Shifting from the blame of our personal ‘carbon footprint’ to asserting action against the institutions driving climate change through pollution and overconsumption, will help to create a sustainable future in which both people and the planet can thrive.

Global Action Plan harnesses the passion, power and collective action of young people and impactful organisations to alter the systems that damage us and our precious planet. Through education and agency, we enable young people to envision, lead, demand and drive the changes that are necessary from governments and big businesses to make a sustainable future a reality, in which we can all live healthy, happy lives within the Earth’s limits.
