Sterlin Harjo Pilot Will Film In Tulsa & Okmulgee
The need for extras has been announced for the major television pilot RESERVATION DOGS, when it films in Tulsa and Okmulgee, OK September 6-10. The pilot is written and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sterlin Harjo.
No experience is necessary.
RESERVATION DOGS is a comedy about four Native teenagers living in an Indian housing project in rural Oklahoma, who spend their days committing crime... and fighting it.
Harjo's films include MEKKO, BARKING WATER, THIS MAY BE THE LAST TIME and the Sundance hit FOUR SHEETS TO THE WIND. This year, Harjo was inducted into the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences.
Pay for stand-ins is $10/hour with an 8-hour guarantee per day.
All extras must be over the age of 18.
COVID-19 PROCEDURES:*All persons will require pre-employment covid PCR Nasal testing prior to any work on set.
All crew and cast who work on set will be asked to test for COVID-19 on Friday Sept 4 in Tulsa. Testing will be at the expense of production. Everyone in and around set will be required to wear PPE provided by production.
BREAKDOWN OF EXTRAS
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 - Tulsa
METH-HEADS - Males and females, 18-30, any ethnicity. Need to look like drugged out meth users. Thin, sunken faces, etc.
BAR FIGHT - Males and females, 18-60, any ethnicity. They hang out in a rough and rowdy bar.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7 (Labor Day) - Okmulgee
HUNTERS - Males, 25-65, burly hunters. Need to look outdoorsy.
CUSTOMERS - Males and females, 18-75, any ethnicity. They are customers at a small town store. Small town looks would be great. Please also send a photo of the vehicle you would bring to set.
MOM & KID - Native American mom with a child around 4 years of age. Please show photo of the mom and the child in the same picture. Please include age and DOB of the child.
KIDS - Males and females, aged 6-12, any ethnicity.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 - Okmulgee
TOWNSPEOPLE - Males and females, 18-75, any ethnicity. They walk the streets of the small town. Small town looks, and diversity would be great. Please also send a photo of the vehicle you would bring to set. (we are NOT looking for nice, new cars or restored classics. Just average, even older, cars/trucks. If we use your car, you will receive additional compensation) MUST ALSO BE AVAILABLE THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10. DO NOT SUBMIT IF NOT AVAILABLE BOTH DAYS.
PAINTBALL CROWD - Males and females, 18-30, any ethnicity. Actual paintballers would be great.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 - Okmulgee
CHIP KIDS - Native American males and females, 12-19. They will purchase chips from the convenience store.
CUSTOMERS - Males and females, 18-80, any ethnicity. These people walk the streets of a small town.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 10 - Okmulgee
BLACK STUDENTS - Males and females, aged 12-17, Black.
PASSERSBY - Males and females, 18-80, any ethnicity. The inhabitants of a small town. Great character looks.
DRIVERS WITH CARS - Looking for persons to drive their vehicle on the street. No car/truck newer than 2001. No mint condition classics, just normal vehicles in a small town. A little older looking and beat up is fine, but not required. No white and no red. Please send photo of your car.
NATIVE STUDENTS - Native American males and females, 12-18. Should be identifiable as Native.
LOCAL KIDS - Males and females aged 6-12, any ethnicity.
WHITE STUDENTS - Caucasian males and females, aged 13-18.
