Tony doesn’t take his success for granted. He worked hard to get where he is today.

“There aren’t a lot of people that look like me in the Boston market doing the job that I have. And you know, I was told by others, ‘I don’t know that you can do this, because not many minorities are successful.’ And I put my head down a long time ago to say hey, I’m going to be the example.”

“Isenberg helped foster the drive in me, just building that confidence for me to understand that those opportunities were something that I could attain.”

Today, he still brings that same determination back to Isenberg, staying involved in the school’s diversity programs. One of his favorites is the Careers in Accounting and Management Professions (CAMP) program. Tony regularly takes part in the program that brings kids from inner city environments to campus for a week to learn what’s possible for them in the business world.

“One of the things that I love about Isenberg is the commitment to diversity and inclusion,” he says. “So, as a successful underrepresented minority in the accounting profession, I want to be the example to these children, so they can understand that they have the same opportunity to get to where I am.”
