Our very first NMF opened its doors on a scorching week in June 2024 (yes, really). The week-long tour of three mighty Northern cities (Newcastle, Manchester & Leeds) was born out of the desire to shout more about the fantastic work that happens in the North.
That desire burns brighter than ever as NMF returns in 2025 with even more brilliant content, including a new stop in Liverpool. So mark your calendars, secure your tickets and celebrate the North!

As part of the inaugural Northern Marketing Festival we wanted to celebrate and recognise the incredible brand-side talent from across the nation’s most well-known brands.
This brand new list was compiled from a combination of nominations from the marketing community along with a considerable amount of research from Prolific North’s editorial team. We revealed the full research exclusively at our Leeds NMF event with a very special panel featuring representatives from Virgin, BOXT, Nimble Approach and Pedigree!
“We need to stand together to be heard as a region”. We heard from Walgreens Boots Alliance, RE:GEN Group, Embryo and Drummond Central amongst others.
"84% advertising is a waste of time. That’s a stark stat facing the industry”, opened McCann Worldgroup. We got a glimpse behind the scenes at the nation’s ‘favourite’ brew', Bettys & Taylors of Harrogate and heard from Virgin, BOXT and Mars amongst many others.
After two jam-packed days of marketing insights across Newcastle and Leeds, the final leg of the Northern Marketing festival arrived in Manchester with leaders from the likes of FIFA and National Football Museum.
