Fantini, Boffi Introduce New Faucet Under Aboutwater Brand

Two well-known bath products brand Fantini and Boffi have introduced another faucet collection under their Aboutwater collaboration.

The faucet is composed of two distinct elements—handle and spout—that are combined with a third, a horizontal cylindrical element.

“Dimensions, thickness and volumes of the different fittings each play a role to present one harmoniously proportioned design,” the company says. “The suspended spout does not touch the surface it is mounted on, showing a technical aspect that is at the same time, beautiful in its aesthetic.”

The companies say the AA/27 marks the first collaboration with “internationally renowned” designer Michael Anastassiades, who is known for his unexpected and innovative designs. AA/27 offers a distinctly unique application in comparison to the traditional product offering. Consisting of lavatory and shower faucets, AA/27 is available in Brushed Stainless Steel and Matte Gun Metal PVD finishes.

The AA/27 adds to the brand’s growing portfolio of products, which includes designs by Piero Lissoni, Naoto Fukasawa, and the late Korean designer Paik Sun Kim. Most recently, the brand’s collaboration with Sun Kim yielded the AK/25 line, which consists of angular fixtures with a flat articulating head and matching handle, creating a unique method of water delivery.

“The choice of designers for the ABOUTWATER brand is guided by the philosophy of seeking the expressive idioms of international creative minds who represent, each in his or her own specific way, the cutting edge of design,” the company says.

Boffi, known for its luxury kitchen and bath faucets, fixtures, furniture, and accessories, and Fantini, which produces high-end faucets and accessories for both spaces, formed the Aboutwater brand because the companies realized they have a lot in common, sharing ideals, ideas, aims and attitudes. “That is why it has been natural to join together and create the Aboutwater project,” the companies says. “The partnership is based on the concept of creating a new collection of faucets and shower systems with a modern and elegant design, conceptually excellent and flawless,” the company continues.
