Indwell launches community bonds program to build affordable housing in Hamilton

The Hamilton-based charity is hoping to raise $5 million in capital funding over the next 12 months with help from community members.

Chris Finkbiner, chief operating officer of Indwell. The supportive housing provider has launched a community bonds program to raise capital for at least three projects in the city. 

A new community loans program will give Hamiltonians the chance to help get deeply affordable housing built in the city.

Supportive housing provider Indwell recently launched its Hope and Homes Hamilton Bond program, which aims to raise $5 million in capital funding for at least three different housing projects over the next year.

Wentworth Baptist Church

Indwell will be adaptively reusing the site of the Wentworth Baptist Church to create at least 50 affordable housing units.

Acorn Flats

Indwell is slated to build more than 20 family townhouse units on Robert Street, which will the second phase of The Oaks development.
