IN the early hours of Wednesday morning, 23 March, four suspects reportedly broke into a dealership in Delmas, Mpumalanga.
They allegedly forced their way on the dealership’s side gate. Upon entry, they broke into the workshop, where they deactivated the alarm systems and disabled security cameras.
The suspects allegedly took computers, tablets and then opened the safe that store car keys.
They made off with four new vehicles – a Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Fortuna and two Toyota Hilux bakkies.
Police, with the help of a car tracking company managed to recover the two Hilux bakkies in Kensington, Gauteng.
They arrested three of the suspects aged between 27 and 61 on charges of business burglary.
The suspects will appear in the Cleveland District Court on Thursday, 24 March for possession of suspected stolen cars.
Police spokesman Brigadier Selvy Mohlala said cops have launched a manhunt for the fourth suspect and they are still searching for the other two cars.
