SINGER Zahara is inspired by fellow musician, Nomcebo Zikode.
She recently sent a heartfelt message to her via Facebook.
In her message, she wrote: “Nomcebo Zikode, your journey is inspiring my love. God bless you. ‘Everything may be rushing on me and everything may be too slow on me, but I’ll be here holding it down. I know where I am going.’”
Nomcebo responded and said: “Thank you so much! I hope there’s a girl out there who will see this and realise that it’s possible I’m grateful for all the blessings and opportunities that have come my way.”
Their fans were touched to see the two female singers supporting each other.

Zanele Ngcongo commented: “Wow it’s so good to see you ladies supporting each other like this. You are breaking the chain that says women don’t like to see other woman succeed.”
Smukelo Madlala wrote: “Yabona ivoice yakho misithi ‘and everything may be’ I just know that I’m not alone so many people out there are fighting to survive. Zahara, all your albums they lift me up my dear even the recent one listening to your music it’s like listening to a big sister I never had.”
