Project Development

The Junior League of Collin County (JLCC) Project Development Committee is seeking potential project submissions from Collin County Community 501(c)(3) Non-Profits.  The Committee is accepting full-term project requests that further align with the Mission of the JLCC and respond to recognized community needs.  Project requests should align with the JLCC’s Community Impact Statement, with an eye towards “disrup[ting] cycles of economic insecurity and family violence to strengthen and advance all women, children and families in Collin County.”  Additionally, JLCC Projects must serve Collin County residents. Project requests should provide an opportunity for the JLCC to make an impact by providing its trained volunteers to advance the project objectives. The evaluation and approval process may take in excess of a year, but, if selected, will initiate a collaborative partnership between the JLCC and the Non-Profit.  The JLCC shall not act as a fundraising agent for other organizations, but selected projects may also include a funding component (depending upon need and availability).  If you have a project that you would like the Committee to consider, please complete and submit the form below by October 30, 2023.

If you have a project idea that does not meet the above criteria, please feel free to instead submit it to our Done In A Day projects committee at diad@jlcollincounty.org.

Short-Term Projects

Done In A Day projects provide quick-response or short-term project support for Collin County communities. The JLCC provides volunteer support for community projects that can be accomplished in a one-time evening or weekend effort.

When nonprofit agencies are limited in achieving their goals because of lack of volunteers, this program provides a dedicated group of JLCC volunteers to work on short-term projects. All projects must meet a community need in Collin County.
