BISHOP Stephen Zondo has accused Moja Love of getting paid to be used to insult him.
In a circulating video, believed to have been taken during Zondo’s weekly service at the Robertsham branch of his church Rivers of Living Waters Ministries, in the south of Joburg, Zondo said the plot to insult him was expected to air on Sunday on Moja Love.
However, it wasn’t clear which Sunday he was referring to as well as which programme.
But social media users believed Zondo was referring to the Moja Love talk show AmaBishop.
“There are people who have paid Moja Love to insult me, and they have also invited sangomas,” said Zondo.
He said the aim was to prevent people from attending his upcoming Easter Conference.
“Whatever their aim against me, shall be done to them and their children as well as their next generation if God has called me. Mark my words, no one will die among them before witnessing what I have said,” said Zondo.
He said to Moja Love and its legal team that nothing formed against him and his church shall prosper.
Zondo’s three-day Easter Conference is expected to kick off with a fund-raising dinner on 15 April, and is scheduled to take place at Unitas Park in Vereeniging.

A source close to the conference told Daily Sun Zondo was frustrated that people might not attend following a number of allegations made against him including rape, and he was hoping to make money out of the conference.
However, Zondo refused to comment on these claims including elaborating further on allegations he made against Moja Love.
He said he will only engage with the media through statements he will be sending out in the future.
When asked if his comments were aimed specifically against AmaBishop as assumed, Zondo said “not really”, adding that he would not comment any further.
The channel said there’s nothing to benefit from blocking congregants from attending the Easter Conference.
Bokani Moyo, Moja Love’s head of channel, said: “Moja Love does not have a vendetta against Bishop Zondo and just as any media house in this country, we are reporting on the events around his trial and shenanigans in his church accurately and objectively.
“As a channel, we have afforded Bishop Zondo a right of response to the allegations to which the channel received no response. As a broadcaster, we will continue to inform, educate and entertain with no fear or favour.”
Zondo, the leader of the Rivers of Living Waters Ministries, is accused of 10 counts of rape and defeating the ends of justice.
He pleaded not guilty to all charges.
