Our Private Music Lessons
Private Music Lessons are one on one lessons with a music instructor to develop fundamentals and assist students on their journey to music mastery. Students can pick from a variety of instruments. Students can learn how to play their first songs, read music, compose, improvise, and more. Best for students and parents wanting their children to have personalized attention and lessons catered to their interests. It is highly suggested to purchase an instrument for further practice and development. Spreading the Music teachers and staff will be happy to assist you with purchasing books and equipment!

Morning
9:00 am -12:00 Noon. Best for renting rehearsal space, adults, and home school students.
Early Afternoon
12:00 Noon-3:00 pm. Best for renting rehearsal space, adults, home school, and students with early dismissal.
After-School
3:00 pm-6:00 pm. Most popular time slot! Best for all students K-12. Highest availability of teachers.
Evening
6:00 pm-8:00pm. Best for students 12 years and older, and renting rehearsal space.

How It Works
First
Fill out our form at www.spreadingthemusic.com/get-started. This will give us all the information we need about you as a new private student, your availability, and your experience. You can also give us a call at 504-582-9834 or can schedule a visit by going to www.spreadingthemusic.com/contact-us.
Second
Wait about 1-2 business days. We are pairing you with the best music teacher for the job. You can expect a phone call or email from us within that time to secure any additional details we might need. We look to match students and teachers based on availability, experience, teaching style, and general interest. Note, if you don’t think it’s the right fit you can always easily switch teachers. You can expedite the process by Paying Registration.
Third
Receive a “Spreading the Music Confirmation Email” and come to your first lesson! Once we have communicated with your teacher and scheduled your first lesson date and time we will send you a confirmation email with everything you need to know about our school. At this point, you must Pay for Registration to secure your new time slot. You will be sent a separate Square Invoice via email to pay for lessons for that month.
